Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. Scope and seller

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made on polamo.co from Polamo Company OÜ, Tööstuse tn 75-71, 10416 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 17632269, email [email protected] ("Polamo", "we"). They apply to private customers ("consumers") and to business customers. Where a rule applies to only one of them, we say so.

Polamo is the seller of every product in our shop. We source products from partner suppliers, who ship them directly to you on our behalf. Your contract, and all your rights, are with Polamo.

2. Products and prices

  • Prices are shown in the currency you choose in the header: euro (EUR) or US dollar (USD). EUR prices are our reference prices; USD prices are converted from them daily at the current exchange rate.
  • Prices are final prices for private customers. The total shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
  • Delivery by our partner suppliers is included in the price for most destinations. For some destinations or unusually large or heavy items an extra delivery charge may apply. We never charge it without asking you first (see section 4).
  • For deliveries to countries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may be charged by the carrier or customs on delivery. They are not part of our price.

3. Guest checkout and customer account

You can order as a guest, without an account, or with a customer account. As a guest you can follow your order and its payment through the order link we email you; please keep that link private. If you create an account, keep your login details confidential. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

4. How a contract is made

  1. The products on our website are an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
  2. When you click "Place order and pay" at checkout, you make a binding offer to buy the products at the total shown, and you pay that total. We confirm receipt of your order by email.
  3. We check every order with our partner suppliers. The contract is made when we confirm your order by email or ship the goods, whichever happens first.
  4. If we cannot fulfil your order at the total you paid, for example because a supplier's price has changed, an item is unavailable, or an extra delivery charge applies to your destination, we contact you before we accept your order. You then choose: accept the new total (you pay the difference, or we refund it if the new total is lower), or cancel the order. If you cancel or do not reply within 7 days, the order is cancelled and we refund everything you paid without delay, at the latest within 14 days. We never charge any additional amount without your explicit agreement.
  5. The contract language is English. We store your order, and you can see it through your order link or account and in the emails we send you.

5. Payment

You pay when you place your order, using a payment method offered at checkout. Card payment will be available soon. Until then you pay by bank transfer: transfer the order total to the account shown on your order page within 7 days, using your order number as the payment reference, and upload your payment receipt there. Orders not paid within 7 days are cancelled. We order the goods from our partner suppliers once your payment has been received, and your invoice then becomes available on your order page.

6. Delivery

We deliver to most countries worldwide. The details are in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes when you, or a person you name, receive the goods. For business customers it passes when the goods are handed to the carrier, unless agreed otherwise.

We do not deliver to countries or persons subject to EU or UN sanctions and may decline orders that would breach export control rules.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until they have been paid in full.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. The conditions, the model withdrawal form and our online withdrawal function ("Withdraw from contract here") are described in our Withdrawal, Returns & Refund Policy.

9. Legal guarantee and manufacturer warranty

Consumers have the statutory rights for goods that are not in conformity with the contract. Under Estonian law you can claim for a lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery; where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you more protection, that law applies. Many products also come with a manufacturer's warranty, which is in addition to, and does not limit, your legal rights.

For business customers, defects must be notified within a reasonable time after discovery, and claims expire 12 months after delivery, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever liability cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability towards business customers is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage and to the value of the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights of consumers.

11. Business customers

If you buy as a business, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. Your invoice shows VAT where it applies.

12. Applicable law, disputes and complaints

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. For business customers, Harju County Court (Tallinn) has jurisdiction.

Please send complaints to [email protected]. We reply within 15 days at the latest. Consumers can also refer a dispute to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (www.ttja.ee).
